John J. Enama, 70, of 499 Millers Road, Zion Grove, died Monday evening at 

his residence after a short illness.

He was born in Hazleton, the son of the late John A. and Ellen (Fellin) Enama.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machine operator at Thorn 

Industries, Hazleton.

He was an avid flyer of remote control airplanes at Tuscarora, and was a 

member of the Tuscarora Flying Club and the Tamaqua Wireless 

Association.

Surviving are three daughters, Carol Enama, her fiancé, Aaron DeBalko, and 

his son, Michael DeBalko, Haddock; Lisa Gillott and her husband, Dave, 

McAdoo; and Mary Ellen Conti, her husband, Shawn, and his son, Justin 

Conti, Zion Grove; one son, John Inama and his wife, Aimee, state of 

Wyoming; one granddaughter, Sara Ellen Conti; and two sisters, Mary 

Lynn Krippe, Reading; and Regina Rigotti, Hazleton. Several nieces and 

nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held from Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542 N. 

Wyoming St., Hazleton.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Annunciation Parish at St. 

Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton.

Interment followed in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Cemetery, Laurel Hill 

Terrace, Hazleton.

Robert E. Greenall, 78, of Tamaqua, PA died  on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Lansford, PA at the home of his son Robert Greenall Jr. Tamaqua native born on May 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Edward and Mildred (nee  Sipple) Greenall.  A 1958 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Bob served in the U.S. Army. He was a real estate agent most of his working life having last been employed by the Dugan Real Estate Agency. Bob was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, PA; a founding member of the Tuscarora RC Club; a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association; and a member of the Schuylkill County Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He is survived by daughter, Robin Zwolenik and her husband Todd of Northampton, PA; son Robert E. Greenall, Jr and his wife Sally of Lansford; grandchildren, Greg Greenall; Dana Greenall, Megan Greenall; Ryan Zwolenik; and Evan Zwolenik; and his significant other, Judith Smith of West Penn Township, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at 8 PM on Thursday, December 22 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua with The Rev. Marjorie Keiter officiating. Born in Dixon City, PA, Robert lived in New Ringgold for the last 11 years; coming from West Orange, where he lived for over 50 years.
 

Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member and past Commander of the American Legion - Post 73, Instructor of U.S. Power Squadron, Past Commodore of Patten Point Yacht Club, and B.P.O.E. 1590 (West Orange). In addition, Robert was a member of the Academy Of Model Aeronautics, Family Motor Coach Association, 20th Century Wagon Trainers of NJ, and Penn Coachman RV Club. He also enjoyed building and flying model planes.
 

Robert was the owner of Fra-Bob Radio &Television in West Orange for many years; retiring in 1992.
 

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Janice (Webb) Bendziewicz, with whom he just celebrated 56 years of marriage; his devoted daughters, Julia Wiegel, and her husband, Rich, Linda Paserchia, and her husband, Mike, and Amy Ennis, and her husband, Brian. He was the dear grandfather of Nicole, Robert, Kylie, Shannon, and JP. Robert is also survived by his brother, Richard Bendziewicz, his sister-in-law, Clare Ruth Preston; as well as many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his brother, Frank Bendziewicz (1993).
 

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 4-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr, & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. A Funeral Mass for Robert will be held on Friday September 2, 2016 at 10:00am at Saint Rose of Lima Church, 316 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover. Due to the holiday, interment will take place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery on September 7, 2016 at 12:30pm.
 

Nov. 17, 2014 Gerald E. Buehler, 83, of Hazleton passed away Monday morning surrounded by his loving family.
 

Born April 1, 1931, in Hazleton, he was the son of the late George and Edna (Waldron) Buehler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Alice, in 2007, and several brothers and sisters.
 

He was a veteran of U.S. Navy and Air Force service, where he was an airman first class. He attended West Hazleton Trinity Lutheran Church. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former Wagner Electric, Weatherly, as a machinist. His favorite hobby was building and flying model airplanes with the Tuscarora R/C Flying Club. He was a fan of the Hazleton Area High School basketball team, a past president of the Hazleton Area High School Basketball Booster Club and he was very active in organizing bus trips for the local basketball games. He also loved to travel with his family.
 

Surviving are his daughters, Cheryl Marshall and her significant other, Stephen Brindamour, Drums; Jacquline A. Ferrera, Hazleton; and Lisa DeAngelo and her husband, Paul, Hazleton. He is also survivied by his grandchildren, Kelly Marshall Hludzinski, Justin Marshall, Tara and Eric Tomaro, and Jarrod and Paul DeAngelo Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Katie, Ashley, Deon, Giovanni and Alice Estelle; his sister, Melva Neifert, Harrisburg; his sons-in-law, Dennis Marshall and Allan Ferrera; several nieces and nephews; as well as his longtime companion, Mei Dai Annie Schade, Hazleton; her sons, Calvin and Arthur Schade; and her grandchildren, Cody and Nadia.

Steve “Avy” Mistysyn, 89, of Pottsville passed away Friday, February 12, 2016.
 

He was born February 8, 1927, in St. Clair, to the late Nicholas and Mary Saranchock Mistysyn.
 

Steve was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, St. Clair. He was a licensed pilot, registered surveyor, a member of the Holy Name Society, and belonged to the Schuylkill Aero Club and Tuscarora RC Club for several years. Steve was talented and enjoyed music; he played the violin, button box and harmonica. He was also an avid gardener. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army.
 

He graduated from St. Clair High School and attended Penn State University.
 

Steve  was employed by J. Robert Bazley for 25 years and retired as a Plant Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor at Schuylkill Products.
 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother,  Joseph Mistysyn; sisters, Helen Yaroshak and Rose Goba; stepbrothers, Michael and John Uranium; and stepsisters, Anna Uranium and Mary Brehony.
 

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Margaret Grava Mistysyn; sons Stephen and Scott Mistysyn; daughter, Susan Mistysyn; granddaughter, Tanya Mistysyn; and several nieces and nephews.
 

Divine Liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 105 N. Morris St., Saint Clair. The Rev. Monsignor Myron Grabowski will officiate. Family and Friends may call from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Interment with military honors will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, St. Clair.

Allen R. Breiner Jr., 69, of Elm Avenue, Barnesville, formerly of Tamaqua, died Sunday in Allentown.Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Allen R. Breiner Sr., who died in 2008, and Evelyn A. Gerber Breiner, who died in 2004.

He was the husband of Nancy Mraz Smulligan Breiner, whom he married in April 2013. He was a 1964 graduate of Tamaqua High School.

Prior to retirement, he was a code enforcement officer and the borough electrician for Tamaqua.He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War from October 1965 to October 1969.Allen was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua. He was also a member of Tamaqua Wireless Association (W3ZRQ) since 1959, American Legion C.H. Berry Post 173, Tamaqua, Christopher Columbus Society, Schuylkill Amateur Repeater Association, Tuscarora Flying Club, East End Fire Company, South Ward Fire Company and Ryan Township Fire Company.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sally Smult-sky Breiner, who died in 2011.Surviving, in addition to his wife, Nancy, are daughters, Patty Breiner, Tamaqua, and Renee' Breiner, Bowmanstown; son, Thomas Breiner, Pottsville; 206 foster children; stepsons, John M. Smulligan, Barnesville, and Bruce J. Smulligan and his wife Tracy, Deer Lake; eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and sisters, Sylvia Seely and her husband, George, Ohio, and Linda Kunkel and her husband, George, Bear Creek.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, officiated by the Rev. Virginia Goodwin. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Calling hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Robert J. Francis, 80, of Pine Street, Tamaqua, PA died on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Mary Ellen (nee Wood) Francis to whom he was married 32 years. Born in Ashland, PA on October 12, 1935, Robert was a son of the late John and Ella (nee Geary) Francis.

 A 1954 graduate of Mahanoy Township High School, he served in the Army from 1958-1960. Before his retirement in 1998, Robert was the Transportation Supervisor for the Tamaqua Area School District. He was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the Tuscarora Flying Club. Surviving him are his wife, Mary Ellen; son, Robert Francis, Jr. of Tamaqua; step son, Alvin Oberman and his wife, Sherah of Dublin, PA; grandchildren, Liam Conforti, Octavian Hamer, and Adrial Hamer; brother, John Francis and his wife, Ivyanne of Victor, NY; nephew, David Francis of Lake Placid, NY and niece, Suzann Dowling of San Antonio, TX. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 2 in Christ Church (White Church), 339 Marian Avenue, Rush Township with The Rev. Janet Kline officiating.
